So does anybody still think the LPD was the best basketball district?

Appalachia loses to Castlewood in the finals. Powell Valley loses to Lebanon in the semi-finals.

So who thinks the LPD was the best basketball district in the Region?

In girls basketball... definitely. In boys basketball... "not even close".

I think it's a fair question to ask.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some folks who still believe it.

Lebanon and PV were the two best teams in the region.

Hmmm... I would have to say that Lebanon and Castlewood were the two best teams in the region since they actually won the championships.

It's like arguing who's the prettiest turd. Basketball in Region D as a whole, is HORRIBLE.

Re: So does anybody still think the LPD was the best basketball district?

SilveradoZ71, I've seen women who are much hotter and way better in the sack with better attitudes that your's. Do you still believe she's the best? Seriously, has she won any beauty contests? I very seriously doubt it. Is she a model? LoL Far from it. Is she a size 3 or 4 with a beautiful, firm, size DD chest? Not even close. And if she's only good enough for one guy she can't be a very good f**k. So what makes you think she's the best? I'll tell you what. Because, if you're a decent individual, you love, care about, and support her. The same way LPD fans, and other district fans ought to, feel about the kids they support on these teams. Don't say it's any different. It's not. So go back to your own d?mn district and shut the h?ll up.

BTW, she really is horrible in the sack.

Re: So does anybody still think the LPD was the best basketball district?

I definitely couldn't say that the LPD was the best district in boys basketball. I think it was an overstatement to begin with.

But I think the LPD was competitive with the other districts this year. This was probably the best showing I've seen from the LPD in basketball since Gate City left the district.

As for the tournament itself, there is no denying that Lebanon and Castlewood earned the championships. You've got to give props to Honaker too. They made a helluva statement in the tournament.

We've had our disagreements, but cvcgrad hit on something I've thought the whole time since ElCaminoU69 created this thread...who, in their right mind on here, honestly posted that the LPD was the best basketball district this season?

Whoever it was deserves a banning. I don't think anyone thought/said this, even when Appy & PV were playing well in the regular season, mainly because none of the other teams did much of anything else in the district.
